Spray cans ready for a 17 ft. wall stencil for a music video Apo Avedissian is stenciling and directing. Ice-cold chilled beer during a family gathering never seems to miss the spot! A tattoo Ara just added this Armenian church tattoo to his already-religious collection of tattoos on his body. I know why she'd want a walk-in closet for her heels. I'm addicted to converses. So, she's getting it ;) The guys came over for some Armenian BBQ and a night of conversations, jokes, and stories. Everytime I see a building that looks amazing, I snap a picture. I don't own/design those, I just love seeing nice looking structures around. The flag will never go down. A very popular public spot for kids to play at. Some psychedelic frogs for you. Again with my fascination with colors and buildings that make the day better. Trip. I'm crazy for patterns, because I get to mess that symmetry myself. Water in that wine glass feels like one of those good days that seem to only get better and better. Candles are for darkness. We don't need to use everything all the time, now, do we? I've always loved to paint. That's the only task I would never get tired of when my dad tells me we have to paint something. Those things never worked. I thought I'd put them in use for something. Here's a photograph. I saw this scene while I was in my brother's room. I ran out of the room and got my camera from mine and ran back in. My brother said 'you're crazy'. I said 'Is that all?' My mom has this little piggy-bank we all drop our left over coins in, and every now and then she manages to pull about $200 out of there. I've always been fascinated by colors and design. The American flag is probably one of the most beautiful flags around, not only by meaning and what it stands for, but design as well. I hate retro. I shot retro to tell people that I have in fact shot retro, and then hated it. One of my first photographs shot during a small video skit we were shooting during high school. As a team of friends played soccer, and I joined them to shoot some pictures, those two friends passed by watching the game. Again with my color fascination. Even a street water-key-whatever seemed to find its way to be my lens' target. I got a call from a friend of mine to go to a fight club. While everyone pushed each other around to get the 'closest seat,' I got up and went all the way back and went up on two boxes and this was my view. I love to paint. Here's what I used to paint my room a while back. Some patch work was needed, of course. My parents were amazed seeing scenes such as this one while going to Las Vegas, NV. I, being dizzy and tired, took out the camera from my back and snapped this picture while half asleep in the backseat. I have a lot of ideas, and if cartoons were real, I'd have a brighter light bulp than this on my head the entire time. Sadly, they aren't. One of my earliest photographs, right where my dad would work. I was bragging my new lens' zoom to my dad. Here's the result =) There's nothing like my mom's cooking. Armenian/Middle Eastern, she got on lock! Some patch work I had to do on my room's walls with my dad. I got a new fisheye lens adapter. This is the first picture I'm taking with it. My dad's favorite food, not just fruit, the pomegranate. Armenians see the pomegranate as their culture and heritage. That's most likely why my dad has always had at least one per night, and has 'offered' every single time. I was hiking on a random day. I needed some alone time. I saw a not-so-lonely couple from above, sitting around the rest spot. I walked back again, snapped the picture, and went by the couple and showed them the picture. They asked me to email them a copy. I did. I hope they're still together, smiling as much as they were at the time. My cousin got me a ticket to see Serj Tankian live. I called to make sure I could bring my camera, I was turned down since I wasn't in a group called 'press'. I ended up taking my smaller digital camera since they allowed it. The security guard at some point snatched the camera out of my hand, aimed it at me and said smile!, I did. He took a picture and gave me the camera back. Not all security guards are assholes. My brother's favorite two sports at some point during his middle school days. Everytime I look up, I assume every grandpa and grandma are watching, proud. Times may change, but love and respect always stay. We were heading back from an Armenian festival called Navasartian Games, I played with the settings of my small digital camera and came up with a long exposure feature without the camera knowing it had one built in ;) The Armenian. I shot this picture during the Armenian Genocide marches in Hollywood/Los Angeles, CA. Armenians suffered a genocide from the Ottoman Empire during 1915 and the years following it. My dad's free time consisted of fixing things. If there was nothing to fix, he'd create something new to build. Colors are something else for me. Something special. Like water, to some. An old friend picked me up to go and catch up somewhere. At some point he asked 'how's your work coming? Any new styles?' I turned the camera on, shot this picture, turned the screen towards him and said 'I'm always creating.' He said 'I'm not surprised'. This turns to a table, dog house, and whatever you can imagine when you have a dad who's as creative. I like gloomy days. Haven't I said my dad always creates? That's his 'planning' seat. The calculator is ready for his next project. I've been wearing Converses for however many years now. It's a visionary thing. I work better when I'm wearing Converses. I went up hiking as usual, without eating breakfast, unusual. I saw a worm I wanted to take a picture of. I turned my camera on and put my finger on the trigger. I pressed the button halfway to get ready to track the worm. I fainted ..
